Boat tour to Torre dell'Orso and the Two Sisters

Torre dell'Orso is one of the most photographed bays in Salento, and the only way to see it without the crowds is from the sea.

The bay and the sea stacks

The bay is a wide arc of sand closed by low cliffs and covered in pine trees. At its southern end stand the Two Sisters, the twin limestone stacks that give the place its legend. We anchor nearby for swimming, then continue towards the caves of Sant'Andrea.

How long it takes

From San Foca it is a short, comfortable sail: with a normal breeze we reach Torre dell'Orso well before midday, which leaves the rest of the day for swimming, snorkelling and a slow return along the coast.

An unforgettable day at sea. The skipper was incredibly kind and knowledgeable — we discovered coves we would never have found on our own. Highly recommended!

Perfect boat, perfect crew, perfect Salento. My kids took part in the maneuvers and had the time of their life. Water was crystal clear at Torre dell'Orso.
