North itinerary: Le Cesine and Torre Specchia Ruggeri

Leaving San Foca we head north along one of the least built-up stretches of the Adriatic coast of Salento. The route follows the WWF-protected Le Cesine oasis, where dunes and marshland meet the sea, and reaches the watchtower of Torre Specchia Ruggeri. Sailing time is relaxed, with long stops for swimming and snorkelling in water that stays shallow and transparent.
